New Environmental Journal!

Blackwell Library is pleased to announce our new subscription to the journal Environmental History.

Dr. Mike Lewis says, "The Journal Environmental History is the journal of record for the American Society of Environmental History. It is the pre-eminent journal for Environmental Historians world wide – and the third most widely cited journal in History."

We are very excited to provide access to such an important resource. You can find the latest issue on the shelf in our Current Periodicals section! If you have any questions, please contact Susan Brazer, Science Librarian.

Concert to Benefit the Library!

Please join us on Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 pm in Fulton Hall's Black Box Theatre for a concert of Irish and American music hosted by Mike O'Loughlin and friends. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the library circulation desk. Come out and support the library while you listen to some awesome tunes!

New Circulation Chat!

The Circulation folks at Blackwell have a brand new chat feature where you can ask quick questions from anywhere!

Go to the Circulation web page to access the Meebo chat widget:

Vanderbilt Television News Archive Trial!

Salisbury has a trial of the Vanderbilt Television News Archive through March 30.

This exciting database includes access to newscasts from ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News dating back to 1968. Users can view all of the videos from CNN & NBC in our database by streaming online video, which is essentially around 40 years of news available immediately!

Come Learn About Copyright!

Teaching & Learning Resources is sponsoring a workshop on copyright featuring speaker Kimberly Bonner of the University of Maryland University College. The seminar will cover key copyright issues that educators should be aware of when preparing and delivering online content.
