December Government Document of the Month

The Document of the Month for December helps answer that question all students face:

WHAT ARE YOUR POST-GRADUATION PLANS?
Look to Government Documents for the answer.  The Occupational Outlook Handbook and the Occupational Outlook Quarterly from the U.S. Department of Labor feature many different and sometimes unique careers.   Another good resource is the State magazine from the U.S. Department of State.  The display is located at the beginning of the library’s Federal Document Collection.

Government Document of the Month: November

Nov. 2011
Finances are always a major concern for everyone whether it’s personal, business, or the Federal or State government.  Congress, through the Government Printing Office, publishes the CBO or the Congressional Budget Office reports.  Two of their recent books are on display this month:  The Budget and Economic Outlook: Fiscal Years 2011 to 2021 and CBO’s 2011 Long-Term Budget Outlook.  Another publication the library receives quarterly is the FDIC Consumer News.  The most recent news report on display features the article:  Protecting Your Finances If a Disaster Strikes.  These items and other financial and economic documents may be checked out.  The display is located on the first floor of the library in the Government Document section.
