Government Document Of The Month: October

A little late this month but nonetheless a great read:

Let’s go spelunking

Federal Government Documents welcomes you to the mysterious world of caves.  Whether you’re a seasoned spelunker or thinking of exploring caves for the first time, here are two famous caves featured from the National Park system to consider.  Mammoth Cave, a National Park in Kentucky is the world’s longest cave system with many cavernous passages.  Wind Cave, a National Park in South Dakota, in the area of the Black Hills, has an unusual boxwork formation.  Bison and other prairie wildlife can be seen near this cave.  Park Rangers are ready to safely guide all visitors through both of these caves.  Many other books and pamphlets concerning the national park system can be found in Government Documents. The display is located on the first floor of the library in the Federal Government Document section.
