Government Document of the Month for March!

We're pleased to announce this month's government document:

Deep Water: the Gulf Oil Disaster and the Future of Offshore Drilling
(Report and Recommendations to the President)

The Government Documents Department is proud to showcase these documents, which describe and analyze a highly significant event in the environmental history of the United States.  “On May 22, 2010, President Barack Obama announced the creation of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling: an independent nonpartisan entity, directed to provide a thorough analysis and impartial judgment” (p.vi). This report and its accompanying recommendations are the result of the six-month investigation.  Fascinating? Disturbing? You decide.  Check them out at the Circulation Desk.
