Women's History Month Display at Blackwell

To celebrate Women's History Month, the University Archivist curated an exhibit in support of the numerous activities planned throughout the month. Highlighted are three Eastern Shore women from the Civil War Era, Clara Gunby Huffington, Harriet Ross Tubman and Anna Ella Carroll, along with mid to late 19th century publications, clothing, accessories and facsimiles of letters, journals and tintypes from the Wicomico Historical Society, Benjamin Lankford and Gunby Collections of the Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury University. The display case is located next to the Leisure Collection on the first floor.
